The RS2 and RS3 Pro gimbals offer increased stability and smoother movement while operating, thanks to the Advanced Ring Grip. This grip also allows for full control of the gimbal via the remote control handle, making it easier to operate. Additionally, the Ring Grip supports wireless focus control for Nucleus M, Nucleus Nano, and DJI Wireless Follow Focus Motors. With multiple power options, including the ability to mount and power accessories, the Ring Grip also helps increase battery life for the gimbal and its accessories. However, it is important to exercise caution when connecting P-Tap power cables to the Power Supply Module, as connecting them backwards can cause damage to the gimbal.

The Advanced Ring Grip for RS2 and RS3 Pro offers even more flexibility, allowing for multiple points of contact for increased stability and the ability to set the gimbal down after long takes. It can also be used to turn the gimbals battery handle into a top handle for low angle shots and additional power. The grip also includes a remote control handle for easy access to settings and camera functions, as well as a dual channel wireless lens control handle for controlling two channels of Nucleus Series Lens Control Motors. However, it is important to note that the M Key on the RS3/RS3 Pro unit can only change the mode setting and cannot mimic the function of the gimbal. Additionally, caution should be taken when mounting 18650 batteries as placing them in the wrong orientation can damage the handles.
