Premium image quality and high performance
The X100VI is equipped with the back-illuminated X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR sensor with 40.2 megapixels. Thanks to a further developed pixel structure, a larger amount of light than before can be captured by the sensor, so that ISO 125 is now available as the standard sensitivity and no longer has to be selected via the extended ISO range. In addition, the proven 23mm F2 fixed focal length harmonizes perfectly with the 40.2 megapixel sensor, so that the X100VI delivers razor-sharp, high-resolution images.
The X100VI offers a total of 20 film simulation modes, including the new, versatile “REALA ACE” mode for natural color reproduction and high-contrast tonality.
The camera features a subject recognition autofocus based on artificial intelligence. The algorithm developed using deep learning technology not only automatically recognizes and tracks people’s faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones*3 in focus. The photographer can concentrate fully on the moment of the shot and the composition of the image. An advanced AF algorithm calculates subject movement in advance to ensure precise focusing with continuous autofocus (AF-C)
*3 The subject detection setting should be set to “Birds” to detect insects and “Planes” to detect drones
Innovative functions
The large hybrid viewfinder, which is one of the key features of the X100 series, can be used either as an optical viewfinder with 0.52x magnification or as an electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 3.69 million pixels. The user can switch quickly and easily between the two modes when shooting. In the optical viewfinder with 95% field coverage and integrated parallax correction, the subject remains unchanged, while the electronic viewfinder shows a real-time preview of the final image result.
The X100VI also offers an electronic rangefinder (ERF), which extends the performance of the viewfinder. A small EVF window is displayed at the bottom right of the optical viewfinder to assist the user during shooting
The X100VI is the first camera in the X100 series to be able to record video in 6.2K/30P. The camera is also equipped with a tracking AF function during movie recording
Design icon with high functionality
The Fujifilm X100VI has a timeless elegance – a modern classic. The upper and lower housing plates are made of solid aluminum and ensure the camera’s perfect appearance. The
7.6 cm LC display is foldable and has an intuitive touch function that makes taking pictures and viewing images very user-friendly. When folded, the display is fully integrated into the body, preserving the elegant appearance of the camera
The shape of the handle has been carefully redesigned to make the camera even more comfortable to use. The position of the buttons on the back of the X100VI has been chosen to make them easy to operate with the right hand and to make shooting through the viewfinder particularly comfortable.
