IRON GLASS Rehoused MKII 7 Lens Set (Metric)
Originally introduced as early as the 1950s, Soviet lenses were heavily influenced by Carl Zeiss optical formulas, delivering solid optical performance with distinct cinematic characteristics. These lenses are known for dreamy flares, swirly bokeh, and a painterly texture that can only be achieved in-camera. They offer sharpness in the centre with a gentle focus fall-off towards the edges, providing a soft yet controlled aesthetic. Under controlled lighting, they deliver excellent contrast and vibrant colours, but when flared, their true character shines through.
These lenses have been used in major productions such as The Batman (2022), The Pope’s Exorcist (2023), The Creator (2023), and Dune: Part Two (2024).
